Hollow Metal Xpress has roots in quick ship hollow metal manufacturing that go back almost 25 years. HMF Manufacturers was founded in Wilmington, NC in 1989 to fabricate custom hollow metal frames in lead times measured in days instead of weeks and months. HMF quickly gained the reputation as having the shortest lead times in the industry. A second facility was opened in Phoenix, AZ in 1998 to service the western United States. In 2006 this facility was acquired by new ownership and subsequently renamed Hollow Metal Xpress, or better known as HMX today. As an established leader in the industry, HMX was acquired in 2014 and became part of the Mesker Door family of brands. And now, as part of Mesker Openings Group, HMX is one of four brands leading the commercial door and hardware industry.
HMX operates throughout the U.S., with its primary location in Phoenix – a 40,000 square-foot facility that was designed and created with one goal in mind – to be the fastest, most dependable manufacture of custom hollow metal doors and frames. HMX delivers quality custom doors and frames when our customers need them, not when it’s convenient for our schedule. Our legacy continues to grow as we push the envelope of speed, quality, service, and dependability.
